The umbrella

The whole community of African flying. Gyro first. Then everything that flies low and slow.

The Network is the Productions roadmap — how the slate scales beyond the first gyro show. For the group overview see The Group. Every wing, one network — uncertified and kit first, certified GA next, rotor after that.

Brand architecture

One umbrella. One Productions slate. One Club.

ELA exclusivity is on the gyro show only. From contract signing, ELA holds a 6-month head start in the gyro vertical. The Network, the Club and every non-gyro show operate on their own timeline.

The Productions slate

Five shows. One world. Reusable everything.

Same crew, same lodge network, same edit pipeline, same sponsor stack — different wings on screen. That's how MySky Productions delivers a multi-season slate at a fraction of the per-episode cost of a one-off documentary.

Season 1 in build

Wings Over Africa

Gyrocopter · ELA Aviation preferred

Season 1. Africa from the open cockpit of a gyro — five countries, seven circuits.

In development

Bushplane Africa

Bush / STOL

STOL where the runway ends and the continent begins. Husky, Carbon Cub, SuperBush, Zenith.

In development

Built & Flown

Kit / Sport

Owner-pilots flying the aircraft they built. Sling, Vans, Zenith, Kitplanes for Africa.

In development

Workhorse Africa

Certified GA

Cessna 182 / 206 / Caravan, Pilatus PC-6 — the certified backbone of African flying.

Future phase

Rotor (working title)

Rotorcraft

R44, R66, Bell 505 — the places only rotors can land. Phase 3.

Phased rollout

Uncertified + kit first. Certified GA next. Rotor after.

Phase 1 · Years 1–3

Uncertified + Kit

Gyro, STOL, bush, sport. Wings Over Africa, Bushplane Africa, Built & Flown — running concurrently as money and OEMs are ready.

Phase 2 · Years 3+

Certified GA

Cessna, Pilatus, Daher. Workhorse Africa launches when the kit & sport stories are bedded in.

Phase 3 · Year 4+

Rotor

Robinson, Bell, Airbus. Different price tier, different sponsor stack. Listed now to anchor partner conversations early.

Speed rule: any vertical with money + readiness can move faster. ELA's protection is the 6-month gyro head-start, not a slate veto.

Why one network, not one show

For broadcasters

Multi-season pipeline — not a one-off doc. Shared crew, lodges, music, edit. Cost-per-episode drops sharply after S1.

For OEMs

Your slot, your season, your show. ELA's 6-month gyro lead doesn't block any other vertical from moving on its own timeline.

For pilots

One Club, every wing. MySky Approved means your aircraft and your hours plug into the same circuits, lodges and conservation causes.

Where the Network goes to find sponsors

EU pilot tradeshows are the primary funnel.

Trips and aircraft are sold most efficiently to European pilots and prospective owner-pilots buying their first machine. The SA leisure buyer is a strong secondary market. The Club books in EUR; the Productions company contracts in ZAR.
